   I bought one in Japan a week and a half ago for $1450, and ran into a sound card issue as I installed English Windows XP on the Japanese unit. The fix is detailed here:

   Performance is about 20% faster than my Dell 1.8 GHz Centrino. And it can play back high def video filling the 1024×600 screen at 60fps. An incredible unit, I absolutely love the thing. Read the post for more details, including an unboxing video done at a Japanese temple.

   I recently purchased a pcv-rx560 from someone but I am unable to use software installed with this computer. Could you please send original software with xp-home disk that came with as well as original paper work so I can enjoy full use of my computer. Thank You

   Operating system of my PC is XP service pack 2. when i hook the sony USB B2.0 Flash drive of 2 GB capacity computem recognise it but when i click on the icon of the USB diver it appears a message insert the drive. so pls tell me how i can solve the problem

    Tengo una laptop vio modelo VGN-SZ110 que trae originalmente windowa XP Home Editions. Compre el Windows Vista Ultimate. Una vez hecha la actualizacion a Vista no es posible incluirle el sofware original de la maquina y tengo problemas con algunos controladores. Por ejemplo. El coprocessor fingerprint y ademas los botones del laptop no funcionan.

    It sounds like there is a driver missing for your USB memory stick. Try the manufacturer’s web site to see if there are drivers for XP. In most cases, XP has the drivers already loaded, but in some rare cases, with rare sticks, you need an additional driver.

    Also, it could be the formatting of the memory stick itself. If you Google HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool, you can find a free utility that will format the stick appropriately for use on your UX. (Use either FAT or NTFS.)

    i want to solve my problem, got the Japanese Vaio UX50 models which come with the Japanese Windows XP. I installed the license of an English Windows XP and i can´t find the drivers for download the english version. i want to get these drivers plz do me a favor to solve my problem.
