Totalmente over.
Ummm... I own a UX50. Isn't this the Sony UX180P? The UX50 is a Palm platform and came out several years ago. THIS is an entirely different animal.

[...] So I finally got mine from geekstuff4u. Since there is already an unboxing slideshow here, I will spare you another one . One difference is that it comes with the Curling Stand that James Kendrick over at jkOnTheRun was looking for in his video. [...]

Welcome KCMO!

The drawer underneathe is a currenlty a Japanese feature only. It's called FeliCa. They have a card (size like a credit card) or a device on their keychain, that if you wave it on top of that sliding 'drawer', you get instant access to some password protected sites. It's more of a password keeper. It's cool since you store information to those devices sort of wirelessly since there are no contact points.

You can connect the power adapter either to the cradle, or directly to the UX. Each has a separate power port.

The extended battery should fit the cradle. The semi-transparent stand at the back of the cradle does not touch the battery area so it should be ok.

Let us know how you like the UX180P when you get it!

Thanks Reggie, well done.
Your pics answered a whole lot of questions I had, and created a few more.
Like, what is that drawer on the bottom of the docking station? Don't have a clue.
And, will the power adaptor plug directly into the battery, or does one have to lug the docking station around to charge it?
And finally, if you purchased the high capacity battery, does it fit in the docking station?
I've pre-ordered a 180P, can't wait.
Thanks again, great site.
