does anyone manage to adjust the display brightness under vista or both (esp. rear) cameras or anything else that obviously depends on those executable INF-files on the recovery cd? how do you execute INF-files at all?

my model is the japanese ux50 one.

thanks for any hint!

Could someone who has got Vista Beta installed give an update as to whether you've got everything working or not?

Bit confusing about this reading through the various posts here and others in the forums....

Thanks,

Hi,

I can not get the screen rotation to work in Vista. Has anyone got it working? Also the special buttons (zoom, touch launcher)?

THanks.

To get bluetooth working on Vista do the following
copy contents of directory \windows\system32\driverstore\filerepository\bth.inf_458db757 to temp directory
rename bth.inf to bthsony.inf
edit bthsony.inf and find
[Sony.NTx86...1]
Add after this line
Sony UX90 Bluetooh Device= Bthusb, USB\VID_044&PID_300C

save file, in device manager, update driver for bluetooth and point to temp directory

The latest camera drivers (link on this site) work but I only have 1 of the camera working
To calibrate the touchscreen the gunze utility needs to be installed.
Floattip.exe works to get the floating tip working.

How well does it run? And what does the "1" score mean (does that mean it's good or fairly acceptable). I am anxiously awaiting my ux90...very cool stuff!
