Have been using the firefox sync addon with a linux machine, and it works very well. From my desktop computer, I can load up a few tabs for later browsing, take the UX to the cafe, and read them there.

Also, if you have Office 2003 why not try configuring the (Microsoft) handwriting recognition and speech recognition tools.

I tried this out the other day and the speech recognition works really well within programs like Word for both dictation and control of the program (i.e. using the menus via speech control).

Give it a try and be amazed!

Two items...

1) your reference to the MS Power Toys for Tablet PC only works if you've upgraded to TabletPC. As it stands now, the UX's are only shipping with XP Home or Pro, not Tablet PC and almost all (at least the six I tried) downloads from MS's Tablet PC Power Toys page error out on installation if you don't have TabletPC 2005.

2) Augustin VU - you mentioned XPero. Have you tried it combination with the biometric fingerprint scanner? I use my finger instead of a password and when this was enabled, it replaced the normal logon screen with the typical CTRL-ALT-DEL screen... just as though I'd added the system to a corporate domain. I'm curious about interaction with the fingerprint reader and XPero?
