Hot! I just hope it comes to the US as well. I do not really care about the HD size.

With my amazing grasp of English, is the a flash hard drive version of the UX50?

Is this real or is this a spoof (the black case looks a little too sexy to be true).

The 90PS is freaking hot! the flash memory solves some of the concerns regarding bootup speed and refresh from standby. With a 4gb memory stick duo and a large capacity cf card you could get pretty close to the 30gb of the other models. Also if capacity is still an issue you could either plug in an ipod to the usb and use it as extra harddrive space, or even hold out for one of the new nanos (which hopefully will come out soon) that should be at least an extra 8gb of non-spooling harddrive fun on top of the duo. Also, should they decide to make a us version of this one, perhaps it will be with out the japan-only tv antenna and just have a second cf slot (please please please) thus allowing optional edge if you grab an edge cf card, or further storage or gps with a second cf slot. The two cf slots would really be a nice touch, but i imagine they will probably just make a flash memory version of the 180 rather than giving us a cf slot… dare to dream.

does it still includes a CF slot?

“does it still includes a CF slot?”

    may be not

I think the TV-tuner module will need that space(like EDGE module in UX180P).

    Just my openion……

Of course, it has a CF slot. Basically nothing has changed except of the harddisk and the TV Tuner. Even the case is the same size (a few grams lighter though).

there is not much difference between the first-generation model (with the HDD) and this one, except for the One-Seg tuner, and the Flash Drive; and of course the colors…

anyway, i tried playing with this in the local electronics shop, and damn that even 28g really does make a difference. you can actually tell the difference in weight between the two (the flash model on my left hand, the HDD model on the right).

… but can one really justify the cost difference for this?
