Always in need of a bigger one
My UX has a Toshiba MK3008GAL 1.8-inch CE HDD 30.0 GB.
It’s used in consumer electronic product and have a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) connector.
So the maximum people will be able to upgrade at this time is the MK6008GAH with 60GB. I don’t know if other manufacturers have bigger ones.
**Update **

People like to boast my numbers and still thinks of me as crap… who am I ? …
So know you know what to expect from the Intel Express Graphics.
Every bench were performed with default settings @ 1024×600×32.
As for 3Dmark06 I didn’t take a shot, with the 2005 being very laggy already.

This post isn’t about them.

The i.Link Portable DVD+-RW Drive
Last time I mentioned that I was upgrading my external optical drive to the Sony PCGA-DDRW3. I did place
an order for it at SonyStyle for $100 and it arrived after two days. This is a great deal by the way since this same drive is $200+ elesewhere.
This firewire drive supports reading and writing to CDs, DVDs, and dual-layer […]
StickyKeys, it has always been there
Whenever someone asks what I dislike most about the UX, I always say, the keyboard. I found the keyboard quite unintuitive, having my right thumb stretch all the way to the left to do a cut (CTRL-X), paste (CTRL-V), select all (CTRL-A), bring up Windows Explorer (WINDOWS-E), even uppercase a letter using the SHIFT key. […]

The Mobile Micro Desktop
I have managed to put together my semi-perfect mobile micro desktop. It is comprised of the Sony Vaio UX50, a slim CD/DVD drive, an external hard drive, a bluetooth keyboard, and an optical mobile mouse.
The slim CD/DVD drive in the pic is an old USB Sony DVD-reader/CD-writer. I am upgrading it to the PCG-DDRW3, a […]
