    It’s a Mobile Device…
If you really need more space than 30gb use a laptop. Its actually designed to assist with working projects, but I’m starting to think, some people paid $1,799 so they could load games and other crap into it for storage, and playtime. Then complain when the expensive device doesn’t work any more.

Why should you criticize people who want to push the limits of the UX? And how do you make the connection that the same people who will put in a 60 gb will be the complainers? It seems like you are the one complaining now about something that doesn’t need to be complained about. To start with, it in’t even 30 gb. There is only about 21 that is available to the user (do you even have a UX?). I have no games or any kind of media at all but only have 11 gb left on my now. Who are you to tell me how much i should want on MY mobile device? This guy nicely explained how to upgrade from 30 to 60 gb and then you come along and knock him for it?

idiotic ramblings aside - does this theory work on all UX’s? I would assume that they would all pretty much have the same motherboard etc. Not that i would even be considering it before it was out of warranty but it would be handy to know.

just wanted to say thanks to everyone who explained how to upgrade the hard drive by knowing what to do and preparing in advance it took about 45 minutes or so…….and now i have a cool 60 gig drive. one thing noticed though the fan seems to come on more often so your battery will suffer a bit but its well worth it thanks fuys!!!
