If you can find out which US model the UX90s corresponds to then we'll be able to get you the drivers from Sonys esupport site. Also, you might want to ask on the forums if you can get the OS over to windows, I think it can be done.

Don't forget when you buy a Japanese unit (I bought the UX90ps from geekstuff4u) you already PAID for the Japanese XP. With dynamism you are paying TWICE to microsoft for an English XP! No thanks I'll install my own copy.

Shouldn't suspending on the UX90ps faster because it's FAST read from Flash to SUPER fast write to RAM? Are you talking about Hibernate where the system is written into the flash disk? Well guess what you will get FAST read from flash when you un-hibernate to offset the slow write.

Is Vista on the UX180p as slow as the guy on the video said it was? Because Im thinking of getting a UX and don't know whether to go for the more secure less memory UX90PS or the more memory less sucuraty UX180P.

well, the new UX may indeed be faster in the READs due to the flash memory, unfortunately, it is much slower than the HDD-model when it comes to WRITEs!!!

for example, while it takes the UX90PS about 50% less time to boot up the OS, it takes twice as long for it to go to Suspend than the HDD-model.

just FYI.

Depending on your specification they are still, cheaper. As for Akihabara News and GeekStuff4U as far as I understood they are the same company as well as 8 different web.
