I just got off the phone with a Sony customer sales rep. I called in after seeing the “To maximize your savings, please call 1-877-865-SONY.” tag on the SonyStyle.com UX sales page. The sales rep informed me, that buying a new UX380N or UX390N through Sony Style phone sales would get you $100 off your purchase. Also confirmed is that the $100 off is in addition to the current “$50 instant savings” when buying through their website. This brings the prices of the UX380N and UX390N to $1849.99 and $2349.99 respectively. Now some might not think $150 off the unit is a big deal however, for someone else it might be the final convincing factor in getting a UX. Now might be the time to buy!

I’ve been keeping my eye on UX prices lately as they may give us clues as to what Sony is up to next, its possible that Sony is getting ready (though it still might be a while away) to unleash a new UX. However its important to understand that nothing has been announced yet. Though Sony has pulled some tricky moves in the past, such as quickly removing the UX180p from their site and replacing it with the new (at the time) UX280p.
