eXPerience Origami Clone for XP

eXPerience

Origami Project forum member NeoTechni has done some excellent work in creating an Origami clone for use with UMPCs running Windows XP, she calls it eXPerience. It would appear as though the app is built nearly from the ground up, and is designed to mimic the functionality and style of the official Origami design. It looks like it’s designed for a UMPC with a smaller resolution then the UX (1024×600) however it would appear as though a quick replacement of the background file with a new correctly sized background will display fullscreen on the UX. Using a button in the top bar which amounts to a maximize button, the app should fit the entire screen correctly. The app is quite useful, of course it’s aimed toward touch screen so most of the buttons are finger friendly. It offers you access to your pictures, videos, as well as music. Additionally it will function as a touch launcher allowing you customizable categories as well as adding your own shortcuts to different apps. Be sure to download it and give it a try, it’s a pretty nice looking application, and it would appear as though NeoTechni plans future updates for eXPerience -

Update (8/4/07): - Download eXPerience

Update 2 (8/2/07): Download Misc. Pack from NeoTechni (includes source code, extra skins as well as some other items)
