UX490N/C Unboxed

Recently joined forum member bertopl has received what appears to be the first UX490N/C from Sony. He has just a few unboxing pictures, and we get a look at the unit itself (no real surprises). As mentioned previously, the UX490N/C comes packaged with an extended battery (in addition to the standard) and a VAIO bluetooth GPS receiver. Click through to see a few more pictures.

I used to own an UX. Got “trigger finger”. Then I’d never buy any notebook without a full size keyboard.
Sony had the concept partially correct in that most people want a keyboard. The problem is their device is not jacket pocket size and the keyboard is poorly designed. They should have modeled it after successful desings like the Psion 5mx or HP Jornada 720. They need to change the form factor to attract mainstream users.
I was wondering how is H.264 video playback on this thing?
What I’m wondering is if this thing can handle 1280×768 H.264 videos within an MKV container without video lag?
