Yeggster from the forums undertook the daunting task of taking apart an entire UX280 with a broken case, and putting it into a brand new case he found on ebay. Like a hermit crab changing it’s shell the UX280 now resides inside a brand new outer casing. Yeggster was searching for a few UX accessories […]

Is the Mtube UMPC too… small?

After watching a video of the Mtube being demoed posted up at UMPCPortal I started to think a thought that you might find strange. I began to wonder if the Mtube UMPC was in fact, too small. While I haven’t actually been able to handle the thing in person I watched in pain as the […]

UX Port Replicator vertical VGA mod

Yeggster from the MPCT forums has opened up the UX’s dock, also know as the Port Replicator, and managed to fix himself a nice vertical VGA output in place of the standard one that sticks right out the back of the unit. The original VGA plug was left intact and even still works. Yeggster […]

I’ve spent a lot of time compiling data from the UX benchmark thread so we can really get an idea of how the different UX models compare to each other. While none of this is guaranteed to be 100% accurate, it should give you a good visual representation of how they stack up to one […]
