Contemplating my husband screaming has never stopped me, but MeanSquare's previous post diswayed me from ordering one. I might have a different opinion once I touch it in a store :)

I've checked out a few videos on YouTube and that OQO model 2 is a sweet looking piece of machine and the included EVDO is nice but I'm sticking with the UX280P until Sony comes with a answer to the immense comptetition it will soon be recieving in a market for years I feel will ultimately be just as big as the common desktop and laptop market and that's the Micro PC / Handheld PC market. It's envitable. Owners of the UX series are not only early adopters of this rapidly growing market but in fact we are embracers of the mobile-connected-handheld-pc-in-every-pocket future that is coming upon us.

lol, does the screaming just replace the anti-shock facility?

LOL! Anyway it's very strange the poor performance of this device... it has been shipped alot later than our UX and it's below in almost all benchmarks.

Benchmarks aren't always the whole story, but, according to PCMark5, the UX still outperforms the OQO 02. (Not surprising really. OQO concentrates on squeezing whatever performance they can get into as small a box as possible where Sony concentrates on squeezing as much performance as they can get into a relatively small box.)

Still, it's good to know that someone over at OQO has a sense of humor.

I wonder when we'll see the new ULV Core Duo in a UX box...
