How do I get the Japanese maps back after TPC2005 install on UX-50 ?

Hi all,

I successfully have my Japanese UX-50 running English TPC2005 (using my MSDN key) and everything's running great. I used all the various excellent posts on this site to get everything up and running. Many thanks to everyone who put all those together!

The only thing I cant find on the recovery disc etc, is where is the Japanese Map/GPS Navigation software that was preinstalled? I'd really love to get this software back, but I couldnt figure out where it is on the Recovery Disc.....

Can anyone help?

PS I did manage to get the Japanese train timetable software back no problem, but I'd really love my maps back!!

Hi,

it shoulld be in one of the .pac-files under the \Apr or \Apr2 folder on your recovery DVD. Use the Kcap.exe to extraxt the pac-file. But if I remember me correctly, it was possible to re-install single applications with the recovery-utilitiy.
