New FIC UMPC at Computex

I was hoping to beat jesschg to a new umpc post ;)

Can't for the life of me figure out these engineers. Low tech res and camera, a form factor that is neither fish nor fowl and a keyboard for midget fingers!

I suppose you can stick it in a purse, but there are much better laptops out there which are somewhat small, ie: the Vaio T250 series.

I cannot see the point in this one.

Especially in terms of the target market. Power users and programmers, like I consider myself, will be limited. Business use likewise. Light personal users could not be bothered with it (I presume we all have more than 1 computer or at least a computer at work as well) as they would only have one computer.

Not good for typing = what would the target market be? Medium users. Is there such a thing? Perhaps there is though I don't know any!

maybe they are targeting the average user like e-machines did affordable and usless
