No way to disable it, but if don't like the camera utility software, just rename it to something else than place your favourite tool, utility, game or what ever in that folder instead. Then you may have an additional quick start key.
And, don't for get to change the camera link within the Touch launcher or you wont be able to use the camera anymore (just in case).

Another method is changing yourself, just remember there is a capture button on the top NEVER TOUCH IT, IF NOT I HAVE TO WASTE A LOT OF TIME.

I think there is something wrong with your UX T_T

It took me average of 12 Sec from hitting the capture button til program closed.

I am not left handed, but for some reason I keep hitting that button. My hands are pretty big so when I grab it its not depth-wise, its height-wise accross the whole unit.
