I have my doubts on the keyboard, but if this comes with GPS, it might be everything you need in one device.

i'm rather design orientated. and this d*** thing definitely causes backpain. and depressions, of course. an imposition, what it is.

It is rugged and designed for industry. Panasonic needs a go in the consumer UMPC market.

Yeah, It's a "toughy".
Built to greater "ruggedness" standards than those currently MilSpec'd. You can drop the sucker on the floor...try that with your Sony without breaking into sobs before it even hits dirt!
I ain't pretty, but most things built tough, aren't!
Just my 2¢

What are you guys on about... the Toughbook is a cheerleader for Intel's Atom... A real rugged UMPC (Ugly-Motha... PC :) ) is this (http://www.ropermobile.com/products/switchback/) from Roper Mobile (http://www.ropermobile.com).... I mean How many UMPCs do you know that can do this (http://www.letsgomobile.org/images/news/avnet/switchback-pc.jpg) and power to boot, no Atom... (instead a Molecule) and coming later this year, a CoreDuo....
