Hi everyone I think the answer to this is obviuos but i thought i would check anyway. What sort of Wifi security can the UX handle? I would assume exacly what windows can handle but i just wanted to make sure.

The main reason i wanted to know was because when i go away for work, where i stay has no Wifi and i am going to buy a travel router but want to know what security the UX will handle.

The UX supports the older WEP, with 64-bit or 128-bit keys, as well as the newer WPA encryption protocols. I use it with WPA (personal) but it also handles WPA (enterprise).

Just to add on to what MeanSquare said, the Intel 3945ABG in the UX will also support WPA2 (both Personal and Enterprise). I'm using WPA2 Personal with the latest Intel PROset drivers.
