I'll only be interested in this thing if it packs an ULV Ivy Bridge i5, 8GB DDR3, 5-inch+ sunlight viewable OLED/PixelQi based display @ 1280x800 (think Samsung Galaxy Note size and res), wireless induction charging, at least a 128GB SSD and min 7-hours of battery life and of course in roughly the same footprint as the UX...
The necessary tech is already old tech so I know it's doable, the only question really is cost. My $0.02, diJenerate |

They definitely can do that, but the price will be above the sky.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking so I'm seeing an 80% likelihood that my next UMPC will be an android phablet and I know just the one and just the enhancement to make if I did decide to get it.
UPDATE: Either their webmasters have noticed the number of failed resolution calls in the server logs for sony.co.uk/thinkdo or they are preparing something for that page now. The link now redirects to the UK homepage where it once just gave a pseudo 404 error. diJenerate

Oooo.... Good catch, Dijenerate.. never saw that!
I'm just hoping that if / when this thing comes out of incubation, it is a viable product, and possible substitute for my venerable UX =) |
