Default Amazing deal on a 280p!!!
I got my 280p a few weeks ago from a place called Clearanceclub. I had never heard of them but the price was right. I took a shot at it and was really positively surprised. The ux was a "refurb" but was in perfect condition. (I suspect "refurb" here means that someone bought it and used a 30 day return policy to giv it back and get a refund.) Shipping was fast. I was so pleased had a friend get one from them too.
I just got an email that they dropped the price even more. If you are thinking about getting a ux it is a GREAT DEAL!!
(No- I don't work for them- I just was really happy dealing with them.)

Hey Guys,

Great deal rabbimaisy! I have a question, what did your ux come with? Does it come with the dock or extra mouse/pointer.

Thanks,

It comes with everything the UX280p comes with. It's factory refurbished, so everything is in the box that would normally come out of the factory. Battery, dock, the "tail version" of the dock, the ministand, straps, cloth case, etc.

Right-- the warranty is part of the trade-off. But mine came with everything that is in the original package only it wasn't packaged as nicely. (So I missed the "unboxing" experience. Not a bad tradeoff in my opinion.

I had the Q1P and really like it but when I saw that I could get the us at that price (actually it was a bit more last month) I couldn't resist selling the Q1 and getting the Ux. And I am really happy I did.

BTW- great piece over at handtops.com about the fact that all the second generation umpcs and micropcs are coming out and the ux is still at the top of the heap from a performance perspective.

Thanks for the input rabbimaisy!

I think I'm going to order a ux-280p today. For the money I'll save on the ux-280p I can get some of the extras.
