No, you need one with a ZIF connector.

Although my research suggests that ZIF is just a different ATA/IDE connector, same interface. It seems the u1010 used a ATA/IDE connector hard drive with a ZIF adaptor, with the u810 having a zif hard drive... saw the adaptor on a forum somewhere, maybe worth investigating?

Space would be the issue with fitting any adapters in there, it is a very tight squeeze already getting the Sandisk zif SSD drive in where a traditional HDD used to be without having to worry about fitting an adapter in too.

for this money you can take a 32GB USB Stick.

I see yesterday some @ ebay. The largest are 64GB.
