Hi All, Found out that the latest Windows 7 driver for UX touchchip no longer works, as Authentec has been bought by Apple and is no more, if you happen to re-install the driver or tried to do a finger print update/manage, it will send you to a non-existent page. You will need to install this driver...
You can reinstall UX390N with ANY Windows XP/Vista/7 CD or DVD, you don't need the original disks. After installation, download all the drivers and original programs (google them) and install away. I recommend using Windows 7 as it is the best OS for UX series.
Bigs, I am using the 5100 which is a full length card. Thanks for posting the power differences between those cards. I think I am going to upgrade to the latest 7260AC dual band card for even greater power savings.

Ceehoppy, thanks for the update on Win10. I guess we will wait for the official release and hopefully it will run better. I will not use the Windows Malware scanner on any UMPCs, there is a really fast/lightweight virus scanner called Webroot that is light years better than the MS version.
