There is really only one reason for not unlocking the SIM on Vista machines. There is no hyper terminal. the unlock process is done through hyper terminal. There is a way to unlock from what we have heard but you have to use third party software downloaded and installed from the web.
Some things are cooler in Windows 7, it feels better than Vista. I know the benchmarks don't lie but I am getting hooked on some of the new features. The BIOS posted on my digital life actually will flash. My machine had Ubuntu and XP on it so I tried to flash from DOS and from XP but it failed. So I re-imaged my Sony with the Vista setup it came with. Then I ran the BIOS from mydigitallife and it completed.
Virtual CD 9 now has virtual DVD burning support in Vista, the only program I know of that currently has this capability.
