well actually you cannot remove the panel with a little tug cause of the adhiesive but maybe with some sort of solvent

I'm glad you like the UX. How many DO you have? In pic#1 I see the "before" UX, in pic #3 I see the "after" UX, & in #2 I see BOTH (the corner of "before" is visible under the edge of the "after" UX). Right now i have 5 ux's all 280ps Im looking for a black case or just the front. you know the part...

Yes i had to completely break the ux down to get to the screen. The only real issue is that the touch panel is held on by a very strong adhiesive that would break the screen to try to separate normally. This is the reason for slicing through it with a razor before lifting the panel.

i do too but im not gonna find replacement touch panels. my main ux is fully functional with touch this one was part of an ebay lot i had won

Removing the broken touch panel of a ux

so what i did was i used a razor to slice the broken touch panel off the display. then added a screen protector this is a very delecate process and should not be attempted unless you are confident you can not break the display panel. check out the before and afters http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7055...
