Make the width of threads applicable for a zoomed in UX screen...

Postby Benz145 » Tue Feb 13, 2007 04:42

I think its safe to say many of us on this forum are browsing from our UX's. Right now I'm using a nice (but admittedly old) 20" CTR monitor and viewing this website is great. However I think it would be a smart move if we could somehow make it so the text on threads was just wide enough to be viewed from your UX using the zoom feature.

Check out www.pocketables.net Jenn managed to make the site (I'm not sure if it was on purpose or coincidence) perfect for reading when using a 2.0 zoom setting. It would be great if we could do that here on our Micro PC forums : D

Here is a pick of what her site looks like when zoomed in (its the perfect width!) -

I was wondering why the gray bars on both sides of the threads, couldn't you enlarge the whole thread without the bars and use a bigger font to make it more ux friendly?
