Need UX benchmark data

Postby Benz145 » Fri Oct 26, 2007 18:13

Hey everyone, I'm working on gathering benchmarking data for the UX series. For those of you not familiar - benchmarking runs software tests to determine the performance of your computer. I'd like to get a couple scores from each different UX model. I need scores for the UX180, UX280, UX380, and UX390, or other regional equivalents. The benchmarking software we are using is called Crystal Mark. Its very small and easy to use, you can download it here. All you need to do is open the application and click the "Mark" button, and the program will run a series of tests and return a total score, and scores for each individual test. The easiest way to show the scores would probably just to take a screenshot (print screen button, it will save it to your clipboard) paste it into paint, save it and upload it to www.tinypic.com and put the link here. Please include this info in the following format -

EDIT: I had the wrong link earlier, I'm sorry, here is the correct program - http://dl.crystaldew.info/download/CrystalMark2004R2.zip

Model:
OS:
Clean install of OS? (Y/N):
Scores: (post link here)

When doing the test, you should have your UX plugged in and close any applications that you are not using.

Example -

Model: UX180
OS: XP Pro
Clean install of OS? (Y/N): No
Scores: (link to your screenshot, or type the scores in manually)

Thanks for anyone who helps contribute to this, I'll be posting my findings and comparisons soon in a front page post.

Look at the HD, yours beats mine by a bit, then look at mwilson's with 7392 funny how I beat that score by a little.

When I run a bench I exited everything, including any firewall, anti, p2p crap etc and I also turn my theme to classic / aero off if in Vista.

What is GDI, I got 4580, steffcip got 2795 that is huge difference, then look at mwilson's at 3223, finally check out enterman's at a wopping 4111 he is up with me, though running the same setup coincidence ?

We should all run the bench with the same things running I mean nothing running and aero and crap off, though it is also good to run it on and compare the changes.
