So, you say with ONE license you have the driver for both Win AND Mac? If its so: I'm first on second 10 license pack, ok? Thanks!

But I think this could be an interesting mod for this list:

I'd love to add 1Tb on the dock, and have that space when I use the UX as a Desktop...

Thanks! It's added!
It only fits a 2.5" HDD, so 640GB is the biggest available, AFAIK.

Thanks a lot SMNC!

By the way, Touc-base are also providing the best 'touch' driver for UX running macosx, and they authorize mixed batch of 10 licenses (windows OR macosx)... maybe you should precise it in this thread...:)

Thanks, and clarified!

Hum... no. I bought two licenses for instance... one for W7 and one for Macosx. But we are not obliged to buy batches of ten licenses for W7... we can have 5 for W7 and 5 for Macosx (or 6/4... etc.).

Am I more clear?

Ok, sorry for missunderstanding! I thought you can install the driver for both sistems, with just one license. But, I'm still on second 10-license pack,ok? Thanks!

Not notebook sized you haven't:D

WD makes a 750GB and 1TB 2.5" drive, but they're 12.5mm high.

Old-school height...

The record for 2 platters is at 640GB, but they're bumping against aural density limits again. Basically, any more dense, and neighbouring bits are starting to influence each other resulting in massive data loss.
WD cheated on the bigger drives by tossing on another platter...

The Felicia slot isn't tall enough for a 12.5mm drive, although you could auger-out some more space inside the dock if you want...

You can definitely fit the 12.5mm drives in the dock with enough modding, but you loose the sexy pop-out effect of the original mod.

I've found approximately 12mm of space between the mainboard bottom of the dock . So yeah, it's doable, although some bigger feet are probably a must.
