So how does it hook up to all the stuff in the computer? I assume the display output from the motherboard would have to pass through this card, how does the keyboard work with it? Getting all of that stuff connected would probably be the biggest chore.

seanj4u, try the sdk first so you won't be disappointed if you find out that you don't like it.

blaster, he can just virtualize first :)

I am thinking of testing virtualization of android on my ubuntu ux. For those that know android I got ADB goin, which allows me to transfer and install android files onto android device .apk files remotely from the ux

You know blaster, android is very similar to ubuntu in alot of ways. it too needs alot of configuring, and fancy commands to get the full potential of the android device. I am have myself a dedicated Acer Iconia a500, and am very impressed so far. Have to say though the dual core arm 9 cpu is no where as quick as the u770, although kudos to the arm 9 having built in HD acceleration, so it can play hd movies effortless, plus ability to output via hdmi is amazing. Best of all the acer iconia does not even break a sweat playing HD and stays cool to touch, has no heat vents, or fans, and has amazing battery life while doing do.

So blaster, at $600 NZD for an acer iconia a500 thats has formfactor of an ipad and android, I suspect this may be the way to go for you. Keep the ux for more powerful PC applications, like photo editing, and small video processing.
