Yeah, if you have a 1.8 PATA-ZIF ssd, pretty much. Remove the UX back cover, wifi card and harddrive frame. The hdd has a ZIF connector with a flat brown latch tab you have flip up to unlock. Be gentle with the flexible cable as it is easy to damage it. Most PATA-ZIF ssd are the same dimensions (5mm thick) as hdd (some ssd are 8mm thick & are a tight squeeze) so transfer the white rubber blocks to ssd, fit the cable & (carefully) close the latch. Put everything back together & you're good to go. Load your OS & enjoy faster UXing.

A while back I asked, but I'm trying again to put this together. I don't remember how those pieces at the bottom go on the LCD assembly/slider. I have the PDF. I'm looking at it and I'm on the last page. Does anyone know? When the monitor slides up, it won't stay up unless those pieces are on somehow.

I don't think the pdf will help here, it deals with removing & replacing assemblies. You took the slider hinge apart completely. Here are some reference photos.

Remove the hinge from the lcd housing. The "big" silver washer(s) (there should be 2, 1 each for L & R) go under the silver pieces with the tab for the top sliders.
The 2 black washers are stacked on the lower left slider. Then each lower slider has 1 "H" shaped washer & then the copper colored piece with a tab. Everything is held down by screws.
good luck ;)

Copy of what?- the disassembly guide? the micropc/ download link here seems to work. There's a link here, post #48 that also has exploded parts parts listings for various UX models.
