OK. I'm debating having it done on my 380n, along with an SSD upgrade. I don't really care about the 3g upgrade, since I can tether to my phone easily enough.

I'll try PM'ing him, though. Thanks for the info. :)

Good move Marou. The upgrade although not so substantial for todays standards, is still pretty amazing.

Which upgrade, the 3g, or the c2d / ssd?

If I could cram an LTE chip in this thing, then we'd talk.

all of them. as 3G is being superceeded by 4G, c2d CPU's are pretty slow compared to even lowest i3 CPU, plus c2d consumers more energy than a laptop version i5 even. Even the fastest SSD for the UX cannot compete against the likes of SATA SSD's available for all new laptops etc.

So the upgrades will improve your UX substantially, but do not expect it to outperform anything new.

Hi, do you still do the upgrading service? The charge is the same?
My model is ux1n, what are the possible upgrades?(cpu? networking card? RAM?)
I also had some troubles looking for U7700 on ebay, doe the PGA version work for this?

Also, will the upgrade in CPU enable us to run games more smoothly?
