It's only about 7.5GB...:p

After a few weeks testing both OSX Snow Leopard and Windows 7 Ultimate, I now pretty much use OSX exclusively.

The UX runs OSX faster than Windows 7.

I agree... osx is faster...a lot...

But there are less features for a tablet... and NO sleep, which is a nogo for a mobile device...

ubuntu 10.04

Postby mansive » Mon May 24, 2010 14:24

My ux 380 came with vista, which I liked at first but, since I did a complete install of ubuntu I'm not so sure I'll go back to windows. However I am still test driving ubuntu I really appreciate the open source software and free d/l's. There are a few tweaks I am working out and will have to write some software for it but, overall it is an improvement at this point.

I joined the club. installed ubuntu 10.04 on the UX17GP. All i can say is, just about everything works, got even front camera, and finger prnt sensor working. It makes my UX go more than 4 times faster than it did with XP. Remember though my UX only has 512mb ram and ubuntu runs suprisingly good with so little memory
