Important Intel Drivers for UX (Graphics and Wireless) [4/1/08]

Postby Benz145 » Sun Aug 19, 2007 06:27

Sony doesn't regularly update Intel drivers on their esupport page, so here is a place to easily find the most up to date drivers.

Nice one Benz - seems there is no improvement in the performance scoring, but more of bug fixing from the last update.

Blazkt: Uninstall the video driver you have then install this one. The error message comes up because of that, but the software writers didn't think to mention that possibility.

Worked great!!! Before I installed the new version, I faced problems with the igfxserv.exe processing my cpu to the max. After installed, problem's gone for good. Highly recommended for those who faced the same problem in XP Pro. Cheers!

Want to know what games work and don't work on your UX? Read my list.
Just do a clean install of Vista and come here for driver assistance? Download my pack: here.

Thanks benz, I'm downloading the XP version. This release comes with Shader 3.0 support for 865 chipsets but there are none speed improvements.
