Fuji P1610 woes

Postby mitty » Thu Sep 13, 2007 19:27

Just downloaded and tried your little app. Very promising! I am interested in using it while flying as trying to double-peck the little icons on the P1610 screen while also flying the airplane is difficult.

1) The wheel won't stay displayed. I start the applet, the wheel appears, but even when I disable the 10 second deal the wheel disappears when I start an application. Left-clicking the systray icon causes the wheel to flash into visibility, then disappear. The only way to get it back is to again start the applet, which produces another instance instead of just bringing up the wheel. So that's no workaround.

2) The command lines apparently cannot accommodate switches. For example, I need to execute:
C:\Program Files\Toshiba\Bluetooth Toshiba Stack\ECCenter.exe 1004
and I see no way to do this. Editing the INI file seems to confuse the applet. (Thanks for using an INI file, by the way.)

3) Using the file dialog to navigate to/identify an EXE file on my D: drive produces a crash and "Run Time Error 5, Invalid Procedure Call or Argument" However, I can add the EXE to the wheel if I do not navigate but rather paste the full path name into the file name field.

Thanks for all the feedback mitty, I'll pass them on to NeoTechni and see what can be done.

Gave version 1.1 Beta a try seems, nice but on my UX380N running XP, I can not get it to select anything but the first Item I add, seems to not like my attempts to get it to scroll. Also when it crashes it tends to loss the settings, not always but normally. The background picture on the Folders is also pink (255,0,0) instead of transparent.

Good, job looking forward to the next version.

Frankly say, I don't really understand this concept. Why not click the program icons to launcher the apps directly, but rotating to the small window and then click the arrow icon to launch it?

Don't just mimic ipod, it is not FUN.

Here is v1.2 I don't think it ever got uploaded on the main page, sorry I haven't updated it in a while, but its been discontinued. There is still some functionality in the software though.

I've added the link to the first post as well.
